Elemental Climbing found its beginning as a simple vision shared by a small group of close friends. A vision to develop and care for our own community of rock climbers in Louisville, Kentucky, as well as a deep desire to extend an invitation for others to join that community. As the years have passed, the vision of Elemental has expressed itself in a variety of ways, but the simplicity of it has remained constant. Now the vision has become to build a full service indoor climbing gym that is open to everyone. We invite you to join us in making that vision a reality, and become apart of the Elemental family.

Summary
Elemental Climbing aims to be Louisville’s premier indoor climbing facility. Our facility will be designed for climbers who wish to be a part of a supportive community, grow in the sport of climbing, and pursue a simple approach to a more healthy and active lifestyle. Our goal is to improve and uplift our community and the lives of our customers through climbing.
Problem
Despite consistent growth in the sport of rock climbing and recent advancement in the indoor climbing industry, Louisville’s large community of climbers lack a facility with a strong focus on community and growth. The current climbing gyms in Louisville are not prioritizing their membership base and instead centering around non-member needs.
Plan
We will purchase or build a facility capable of featuring 15,000-20,000 plus square feet of climbing surface. We plan on incorporating every discipline of indoor climbing: sport climbing, bouldering and speed climbing. By incorporating all of the different styles of indoor climbing, we create opportunities for the climbing community to grow and become stronger.

Our approach is to prioritize two aspects of indoor climbing. First is our members and their growth as climbers. The second is to do so in an inclusive environment, welcoming to all climbers. We want our members to feel like family and that Elemental is where they belong. Our desire to create an encouraging environment for anyone who wants to climb.
